The salon in itself is alright.however they should consider having a sort of express line for the people who only wish to get a haircut. One should not have to wait for over two hours to simply get a trim. The people are not friendly and fail to make me feel welcome. It is such a shame since i do live close by but i would rather drive to a place that treats me well then to go here again.

Horrible shop. They are very unfriendly, they do not even say hello when you walk in. They don't even acknowledge you, and they act as if you owe them something. Also they purposely rip out your hair and burn you. They have horrible customer service; there is a language barrier and you can tell the stylists often make rude comments about customers. Also they advertise as charging 35 to 40 dollars, but I paid $55. They change the price at will, depending on customers, showing false advertisement. They are also very racist against African Americans-the majority of their customers- and rude. Also they wipe the floor with the same towels they use on the customer's hair. Disgusting! I Would not recommend this shop to anyone! Terrible! Extremely unfriendly! False advertising! Racist!

My last experience at Harlets was not a very good experience. The stylist that did my hair was more into the music in her headphones than she was me (the customer). Anyone that has ever been to Harlet's knows that it's an assembly line type of setup and that if the person that is blow drying your hair doesn't get to finish, then the hairstylist will finish blow drying your hair for you. Well the stylist whose chair I sat in gave so little attention to me that she ended up blow drying my hair 3 seperate times because she was not paying attention to the fact that my hair was still dripping wet. When she finally started doing my hair, periodically I would ask her if she wanted me to hold my ear, and she would say not yet. Well she ended up burning my ear! What some people don't realize is that sometimes GOD will send his people to a place of business to be a blessing to that business with the intent of that business being a blessing to GOD's people. A word of advice to some of the stylist, reconsider how you treat the customers, because you can't treat GOD's people just any kind of way and expect for your business to continue to prosper.
